컨트롤러는 HID 규격 마우스로 잡히는 듯

모니터로 잡히는데 일반 모니터인건 맞는데 표기법이 다를 뿐이려나. 윈11은 PicoVR이라고 명시된다.

pico real plus 윈도우에 연결하기

윈도우에서 가로(대칭 이동)으로 해서 헷갈렸던 듯.

"가로" 로 설정하면

왼쪽눈은 화면의 왼쪽 절반, 오른쪽눈은 화면의 오른쪽 절반이 보인다. (윈도우 <-, -> 로 하면 딱딱 한쪽만 보임)

그 와중에 ryzen 7 5800u 에 연결하니 640x480으로 인식하고 화면이 안뜬다 머냐 -_-

5.5inch IPS 4k LCD

문득 생각나서 검색해보니 이런거 사용해서 만든 듯

나름 비싼 녀석인데.. 기술이 발달이 무섭구만 4k를 5.5인치에 담다니..

19.6만.. ㄷㄷ

그나저나 MIPI고, 2160x3840 이라 세로로 나오는데

이걸 가로로 돌려서 쓰고 있으니 멀 하던 액정의 각도가 이상하게 나오는건가 싶다.

그냥 분해해서 고해상도 디스플레이로만 쓰는게 나으려나?

pico real plus for U+ 구매

중고로 만원에 업어옴

케이스는 쌈박한데.. 문제는 메뉴얼이 없다는 것.

컨트롤러도 있는데 건전지 2개 들어간다.

LG U+ 똭!

USB C로 되어있어서 일반적인 데스크탑에서는 쓰기힘들 듯?

두께를 얇게 하기 위해 일반 렌즈가 아니라 프레넬 렌즈를 쓴 듯

v50s 연결하고 카메라 앱 실행해서 보니 생각외로 산뜻하게 보이는데, 펜타일이 아니라 RGB인가?

4k 5.5인치에 RGB가 가능한가?

노트9에 연결하니 반응이 없어서 고장난 줄 알았는데

v50s나 7세대 노트북에는 잘되는걸 보면

usb-c alt mode (dp)가 4k로 작동해야만 켜지는 것 같다.

윈도우에서는 아래와 같이, 펜 / 오디오 / av adapter로 인식되고 자동 설치 된다.

근데.. 왜 세로지?

하라는대로 하니 잘 되긴 한다.

물론.. uinput 설치하고 사용권한 넣어줘야 작동할 듯

vi 에는

$ bt-device -l

에서 확인한 gear VR의 BT mac을 수정해주면 된다(거의 가장 아래 줄에 있음)

$ git clone https://github.com/rdady/gear-vr-controller-linux.git
$ cd gear-vr-controller-linux
$ pip3 install python-uinput pygatt gatt more-itertools --user
$ bt-device -l
$ vi gearVRC.py
$ python3 gearVRC.py

특이(?) 하게도 터치 패드 한번 클릭하면 커서, 다시 한번 클릭하면 스크롤로 변경된다.

일단.. 공식적으로는 삼성과 오큘러스가 갈라서면서

노트9 에서도 기어 VR 업데이트 안되고 있고, 그 이외에 컨트롤러로 사용은 할 수 없다고 하는데

조금 찾아보니 PC 와 블루투스 페어링 하여 가속도, 터치패드 등을 uinput으로 넘길순 있는 듯.

저 컨트롤러만 해도 살만한 느낌인데.. 당근해볼까.. 어떻게 할까..

기어 VR for 노트5 좀 써본 결론(?)

결론 : 역시 돈이 최고다(!)

장점

1. VaR 플레이어로 하는 것 보다 매우 빠른 헤드 트래킹 지원

(현실에서 머리를 흔들어 대는 듯한 반응 속도. 자사 제품이라 그런건지

아니면 기어 VR 쪽에 별도의 가속도 센서를 단건지 미지수. 그리고 드리프트도 거의 발생하지 않음)

2. -8 디옵터 인데 최대로 밀면 안경없이 보이는 신세계

(다이소 신형 VR안 안써봐서 모르겠음.. 사고 싶은데 아내가 허가를 안해줌 ㅠㅠ)

3. 물리 버튼을 통한 편의

(VaR 에서는 쳐다봐야 하는데 노트5는 이상하게 자석 버튼이 안 먹는데다가

기어 VR에서 삼성VR을 통해 바로바로 크기 조절하고 시점 리셋 버튼등이 있으니

절실하게 컨트롤러가 필요함을 느끼게 됨)

단점

0. 덥다!!!!

정말 덥다 -_-. 아마 폭풍마경 같은 놈들도 비슷하지 않을까

1. 너무 제한된 핸드폰 모델.

(케이스만 씌워도 안들어간다 -_-)

2. 충전과 동시에 안된다.

(뒤에 모델들은 된다고 하지만...)

3. 컨텐츠 부족

(용량대비 플레이 시간도 부족하고, 추천영상으로 뜨는 애들은 화질이 안좋아서 애매한 느낌)
