CVS 에서 SVN으로 저장소 이전하기

cvs2svn 이라는 유틸리티를 사용하면 된다고 한다.

gdb 기동시 xterm 에러 - STLinux

(gdb) c
Continuing.
X connection to localhost:11.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

혹은

xterm Xt error: Can't open display:

라는 에러가 gdb를 기동할때 발생을 한다.
그래서 머하는 넘이지 하고 고심을 하다가
Xming을 설치 하고 X11 forwarding을 설정하고 실행해보았더니 아래와 같은 창이 생긴다.

머하는 놈이지?



이녀석 창이름으로 검색을 해보니 희한한게 걸려 나온다.

CROSSWORKS for MAXQ 라는 것과
debug_printf is an extension provided by CrossWorks C. 라는 내용

GIMP로 손쉽게 이미지를 토막내자 +_+

토막이라고 하니.. 웬지 토막살인 같지만..
웹페이지나 각종 UI에서 많이 쓰이는 작업으로 전문용어로 Slice를 낸다고 한다.
(전혀 전문스럽지 않지만 대충 패~~~쓰)

사용방법은 안내선으로 찍찍 끌어 놓고
이미지 - 변형 - Guillotine 을 실행하면 알아서 토막내준다.



추가 정보

1. 생각보다 느리게 토막낸다.
2. 안내선을 한 만큼 창이 무지많이 열리니 닫을때 스트레스 받지 말 것!
3. 토막낸다 -> (목을) 자른다 -> 길로틴 = 단두대 !!

2010.09.23 추가
GIMP2 2.6.8 버전의 길로틴을 실행하면, 자동으로 자르고 다른 이름으로 적절하게 꼬리에 붙여준다.
저장을 하지 않은 상태로 이름만 붙어 있으므로, 저장을 원하는 부분만 저장을 해주면 된다.

L10N / I18N

i18n은 Internationalization
l10n은 Localization이다.

i18n은 다국어를 지원하기 위한 방법적인 내용이라면
l10n은 현지에 맞도록 번역하거나 수정하는 방법이라고 생각이 된다.

그래도 l10n보다는 i18n이 웬지 익숙한건 18 때문?



리눅스/유닉스 기반에서는 gettext()를 이용하며 poedit 등을 사용하여 적용가능함.
(여러가지로 이러한 것에 있다느 것을 알게 해준 UFO:AI 번역 작업에 대해서 감사!)

Makefile/makefile 비스무리 한건 있는데 make가 안된다구요?

kscope 를 컴파일 하면서 겪은 경우인데..
Makefile.cvs 혹은 Makefile.am 이라는 정체 불명의 녀석들이 있었다.
당근 make하면 될 줄 알았는데 rule 이 없다고 꾸시렁 꾸시렁 ㄱ-


CVS

  1. Check out the source code.
  2. Change to the KScope directory.
  3. Create the configuration script:

    make -f Makefile.cvs

  4. Configure, compile and install as in the previous section.

그래서 찾아 봤더니 이런 -f 옵션이라는것이 존재한다.

+-f file, --file=file, --makefile=FILE
Use file as a makefile.

헉 왜 이걸 몰랐을까! - Firefox를 편하게 쓰는 단축키

ctrl - 1
ctrl - 2
ctrl - 3
...
ctrl - 8
ctrl - 9

탭별로 선택이 되는 단축키 입니다!! 짜잔~
총 8개 까지 가능하고 ctrl-9는 마지막 탭으로 이동하는군요!

XDMCP, Xygwin/X로 X-Windows 에 원격실행,접속하기

XDMCP uses TCP, UDP port 177 and TCP port 6000 to 6005

Setup X. Do not setup with a resolution higher than what the remote users are able to use for their display. The newer version is now capable of probing the video chipset and determine that for you. Some older (X) version may not! Test the X Server by typing either startx or telinit 5. Make sure X is running properly.

일단은 방화벽 부터 처치하고, 한번 다시 시도해 봐야겠다.

meld - GUI merge tool for linux


cygwin/x + putty로 띄운 모습.
일단 이녀석을 컴파일 하려면은 python기반으로 작동하므로  python과 KDE 하위 프로그램인
intl-merge 머시기라는 프로그램이 필요하다. 간단하게 말하자면 이녀석도 KDE 기반이다 라고 볼수 있다.
검색을 해보니 intl-merge는 KDE 기반이라고 하기 보다는 i18n 지원도구 중에 하나로
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/intltool/0.35/intltool-0.35.5.tar.bz2 에서 다운 받을 수 있다.
gnome의 하위 지원 프로그램중 하나인가 보다.

공식 홈페이지 말로는
Meld is written with the excellent pygtk toolkit. Python + Glade + Gtk+ is the most productive gui programming environment I've ever used. (And I've used quite a few).
라고 되어 있긴한데, 다국어 지원쪽으로 인해서 KDE에 깔려 있는 유틸리티를 사용 하는 것으로 보인다.

아무튼.. 이녀석은 성공이지만. Kscope를 아직 못해서(KDE 버전 충돌) 좌절중..

tightVNC 서버사용기

tight VNC 서버를 설치해서 사용해보았다.

장점 : 솔찍히 realVNC 대비 딱히 좋은건 모르겠다.
단점 : Mirage 드라이버 설치 하기 전에는 VNC 보다 화면 갱신이 좋지 않아 보인다.
        (리스트의 경우 상/하단 3~4개만 갱신되고 화면을 클릭해야 전체가 갱신된다.)
        한글 키가 안 먹힌다.



결론 : 그냥 realVNC personal Edition을 쓰는게 낫겠다는 생각이 든다.

The following overviews describe the types of system information available.

Handles and Objects An object is a data structure that represents a system resource, such as a file, thread, or graphic image. An application cannot directly access object data or the system resource that an object represents. Instead, an application must obtain an object handle, which it can use to examine or modify the system resource.
Registry A system-defined database in which applications and the system store and retrieve configuration information.
System Information Retrieves or sets system configuration, settings, version, and metrics.
System Shutdown Logs off the current user, shuts down the system, or locks the workstation.
Time Retrieves or sets the system time.
Time Provider Retrieves accurate time stamps from hardware or the network, and provides time stamps to other clients on the network.

후배가 CPU load를 구하는 방법과 함수를 말해주길래, 한번 찾아 봤더니..
의외의 키워드라서.. 내가 지금까지 검색을 못했던 부분이 나와서 충격 -ㅁ-!

아무튼 CPU load 쪽은 Time에 존재한다. 그 외에 각종 시스템 관련 정보들을 report 하기 위해서는
이쪽 함수들을 사용하면 될듯 하다.
