smb.conf 파일에서
log level = [0..100]
으로 설정하면 된다.
(소스 상에서는 100까지 존재한다.)

이 문서에 의하면 [0...10] 그리고 기본은 1이라고 한다.

참고로 10 level로 하면 로그파일의 용량이 대책이 서지않는다.
디버깅 용도라며나 max log size를 기본값으로 사용하거나, 적절하게 키워주는 것이 좋을듯 하다.
(단지 브라우징하고, 파일 하나 복사하는데 1.5MB의 로그 파일이 생성되었다.)
